仏壇 Butsudan ~ The chapel of each home.

Many Japanese Buddhists.
But modern young people is not necessarily the case.

The Japanese are not stick to religion than in other countries.
For example, the Japanese said  ' Oh! my God! ',It does not mean a particular God.
Although it is difficult to put into words this concept,God for them is everything that surrounds them.

House of Japanese like that, especially traditional Japanese-style room, has a 仏壇Butsudan.

Butsudan is a Buddhist worship facility in ordinary houses.














Btsudan is placed in a room with a tatami basically.
It's originally dedicated to the god of Buddhism.
But now, it means remembering deceased family.

Common to them is very gorgeous and majestic.
It may have represented a heaven in Buddhism.
